How To Make "Sponge Cake"

Ingredients :


Oil / Butter - 250 Grams

Sugar - 250 Grams

Eggs - 4

Vanilla Flavour - 2 tsp

Flour - 250 Grams

Baking Powder - 3 tsp

Milk - Half Cup


Method :



  • Put oil or butter into your mixing bowl.
  • Add sugar and mix it well.
  • Add eggs one by one until well blend.
  • Add vanilla flavour.
  • Now add 2/3 flour and add baking powder in the rest of flour.
  • Now add half of milk.
  • Add rest of the flour and then add the remaining milk.


Note : Don't mix it too much


  • Now pour the material into your baking mould.
  • Preheat your oven to 140° C and bake it for about 50 minutes or until you get your toothpick clean after putting in cake.


Serve your cake with a hot cup to tea. Enjoy!!
